I'm Chris Powell and I'm back with more good news!
I thought I'd start off talking about what I've been playing lately. Well, mostly Modern. I've been tweaking my Naya Eldritch Evolution, playing a little Hollow One, and working on a weird UW control brew running Sage of Epityr and Familiar's Ruse. It's been pretty fun.
I've also started working on UW Spirits and building most of it through PucaTrade. I had a number of the Spirit cards already, but so far have received 4 Supreme Phantom, 1 Aether Vial, 3 Seachrome Coast, a Cavern of Souls, and 2 [[Phantasmal Images]]. It's not a top tier deck (yet), but looks like fun and I had 3 Aether Vials that I've never used. Time to dust them off.
Core 2019 was released on July 13th and everything is tradeable on PucaTrade! For a core set, it's been pretty fun and there are some sweet reprints.
Guilds of Ravnica: Releases October 5th
I hope we are all ready to Return to Ravnica... again. I do have a soft spot for RTR as it's what got me back into Magic after a 15-year haitus. I'm eager to learn about the new set and spoilers should start next week, let's see what's in store for us for the next eight months.
We've been chatting about the new promoted trades feature for some time. If you're not familiar with this feature you can read some more about it here. I'm glad to report that we are in the final stages of testing and are hoping to get this launched very soon. It's been running on FLUX for a month or so and despite finding some bugs during our testing phases we are close.
The new percentage feature is something that members have been clamoring for, for a very long time. The biggest thing for me is that I don't want to have to be updating my promotion prices all the time and this removes any time I would have to spend doing so—unless of course, I want to increase the percentage a bit to get my card faster.
One other thing that has been really awesome is seeing the percentage members are offering on the "Send a Card" page. This is a game changer and saves tons of clicks trying to find out that percentage. I've strictly been only using FLUX for both seeing this new information and doing additional testing on the feature.
A common question has been coming up about this feature:
Q: When this feature does go live what happens with the promotions I've already paid for? Will I get charged again?
A: The answer is no. Each individual promotion knows whether or not the fees have been paid and the site will take care of the accounting or in this case, no accounting.
There were some powerful trades over the last couple months and I'm excited to share. The Old School section is the most interesting to me, as there was an Unlimited Time Vault and a number of dual lands (even with the large price spikes on them). Awesome traders!

I took a quick look into those trades and found that we had 5,672 Event Tickets traded in June/July! These are by far the most traded items on PucaTrade.

In the early stages of the new Promotion features a bug was found where promo prices on the production site were getting locked at the current price. This was resolved very quickly and should no longer be an issue. Please let us know if that is not that case.
Most of the other bugs we've been working on lately are related to the new feature. We really want to iron it out and make sure we don't have any hiccups in production.
The most recent updates to the site can always be seen here. This link is on the version number in the footer of the site (currently v184.108.40.206). I agree this is a tad hidden on the site and most people don't know about it, so I will do my best to give updates in these posts going forward.
I'm excited about the new feature and additional development we are able to put in on into 2019. Keep the sends coming, I know I'm feeling like I never have enough points in my account.
Let's talk soon, and as always, give and let give!
