Closing Notes

We've been sourcing the sweepstakes cards for a month now and we've realized that certain types of cards don't seem to perform as well as others. For example, we paid less for the Masterpiece Mana Vault than we did for the Foil Leovold, but the Masterpiece performed better. It seems that there may be a point of diminishing returns when we start getting into higher value cards. For this reason, we passed on a Promo Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite that was offered earlier this month.

This doesn't mean that we'll avoid exotic cards completely, but instead we'll run them sparingly. I'd like to try to get a few cards for Old School (93/94) like a Beta Black Knight or a Chaos Orb into the sweepstakes in the coming months. I'd also like to score one of the new Doran, the Siege Tower Judge promos.

Well, that's all for this month. As always, the door is open for feedback! Please feel free to reach out if you have any thoughts on the process.

Thanks for reading!
