Queuing with Crewmanwilson: Legacy Cube Double Header

WRITTEN BY

What's good, Pucatraders? My name is Wilson Fisher. You may remember me from such articles as Intro to CubingDrafting Eldritch Moon, or Dawn Charm: The New Cryptic Command! Today we are going to dive head first into a legacy cube double header!

Cube #1

Cube #2

If at first you don’t succeed, cube and cube again. One might view cube #1 as a failure because we played single elimination and did not make it past the first round. However, I find it very hard to call any cube experience a failure, no matter how hard you may lose. Cube is not street-tough, school-of-hard-knocks, kind of magic. Cube is a sandbox. This is where you get to create, explore, and improvise as you go. If you want to learn fundamentals, play limited with a core set. If you want a more competitive scene, play in a Grand Prix. Sure, you’ll run into the players who draft UR Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker/Pestermite combos, or the mono-red player, but you just have to show them the way with your sweet mono-green, mid-range, Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker, Oath of Nissa deck. They’ll understand*.

I hope you enjoyed the video and please stay tuned for more in the future! While you bide your time waiting for the next installment of Queuing with Crewmanwilson here on PucaTrade, come check out my stream at twitch.tv/crewmanwilson every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday starting at 5 PM PST and ending at 8:00 PM.

*They won’t
